Mouse KARS/Lysyl tRNA Synthetase ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the precise measurement of lysyl-tRNA synthetase (KARS) levels in mouse samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The kit uses a colorimetric detection method in a double-antibody sandwich format with reactivity specific to mouse.

The assay delivers a sensitivity of 37.5 pg/mL and a standard range of 62.5-4000 pg/mL. Lysyl-tRNA synthetase is described as a critical enzyme involved in protein synthesis and cellular function, helping to maintain the integrity of the genetic code. Dysregulation of the enzyme has been implicated in cancer, neurological disorders, and autoimmune conditions. Unopened kits should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

Reported linearity for serum (n=5) ranged from 88-103%, 90-104% and 90-100% at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions; EDTA plasma (n=5) gave 90-99%, 86-100% and 86-94%; Heparin plasma (n=5) gave 80-100%, 84-90% and 84-97%. Recovery averaged 96% in serum (range 90-103%), 93% in EDTA plasma (range 85-101%) and 95% in Heparin plasma (range 89-102%).
