Mouse Kallikrein-1/KLK1 ELISA Kit

KLK1 is described as a protease involved in regulating blood pressure, maintaining vascular homeostasis and modulating inflammatory responses, with dysregulation implicated in cardiovascular and renal disorders. The assay protocol involves equilibrating reagents, loading standards, samples and blanks onto the pre-coated plate and incubating at 37°C for 90 minutes, followed by a 60-minute incubation with a biotin-labelled detection antibody, a 30-minute incubation with HRP-Streptavidin (SABC), TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and a stop reaction with absorbance read at 450 nm.

Linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions ranged from 80-104% for serum, 82-97% for EDTA plasma and 83-102% for heparin plasma, while spike-recovery averages were 98% for serum, 91% for EDTA plasma and 95% for heparin plasma.
