Mouse Kallikrein-1 (Klk1) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of Mouse Kallikrein-1 (KLK1) levels in mouse samples. The double antibody sandwich assay targets KLK1, a serine protease also known by synonyms including Glandular kallikrein K1, Renal kallikrein, Tissue kallikrein-6, mGK-6, and Klk6 (UniProt: P15947).

KLK1 is a glandular kallikrein that cleaves Met-Lys and Arg-Ser bonds in kininogen to release Lys-bradykinin. It plays roles in blood pressure regulation, vascular homeostasis, and inflammatory responses, and its dysregulation has been implicated in cardiovascular and renal disorders, making it a useful biomarker for studying these conditions. The kit offers a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.083 ng/mL, with reported intra-assay CV of 7.4% and inter-assay CV of 9.4%.

The kit is suitable for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. Sample dilution linearity across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma spans 85–117% across dilution factors, while spike recovery ranges from 84–96% for serum and 86–98% for plasma.
