Description

Assay Genie provides a Sandwich ELISA kit designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse Isocitrate dehydrogenase [NADP], mitochondrial (Idh2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay is intended for research use only and detects both natural and recombinant mouse Idh2.

According to the manufacturer's specifications, the kit has a detection range of 0.625–40 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.329 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV, inter-assay CV, linearity and recovery data are provided with the kit. Idh2 is an NADP(+)-dependent isocitrate dehydrogenase located in the mitochondrion, functioning as a homodimer, and the enzyme plays a part in intermediary metabolism and energy production, potentially associating with the pyruvate dehydrogenase complex.

Listed synonyms include ICD-M, IDP, NADP(+)-specific ICDH, Oxalosuccinate decarboxylase and IDH. The UniProt accession for the target is P54071, with a reported molecular weight of 45 kDa.
