Mouse iPLA2/Phospholipase A2, Calcium Independent ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is intended for the quantitative detection of mouse iPLA2 (Phospholipase A2, Calcium Independent) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The double-antibody format uses a colorimetric read-out and is suitable for research applications in lipid metabolism and inflammation.

Performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a measuring range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. iPLA2 Phospholipase A2 is an enzyme involved in lipid metabolism and inflammation, playing a key role in various cellular processes. Its dysregulation has been associated with inflammatory conditions, neurodegenerative diseases, and cancer, supporting its value as a biomarker in related studies.

Reagents are supplied for storage at 2–8°C for 12 months and include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled antibody, HRP-streptavidin conjugate (SABC), TMB substrate, sample dilution buffer, antibody dilution buffer, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, wash buffer (25X), plate sealer, and technical manual. The assay uses a sandwich workflow with standard and sample incubation, biotinylated detection antibody binding, HRP-streptavidin binding, TMB colour development in the dark, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after stop solution is added.
