Mouse Interleukin 9 (IL-9) ELISA Kit

Interleukin-9 (IL-9) is a pleiotropic cytokine secreted predominantly by Th9 cells, mast cells, and type 2 innate lymphoid cells, with established roles in allergic inflammation, asthma pathogenesis, helminth immunity, and IgE class switching. The Sandwich ELISA configuration from Assay Genie provides quantitative measurement of mouse IL-9 across serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and cell culture supernatants using a pre-coated microplate strip plate format compatible with standard 450 nm plate readers.

Quantitative performance includes a detection range of 15.6 to 1000 pg/mL and a sensitivity below 10 pg/mL, requiring a 50 uL sample volume per well. The standard curve is generated against recombinant mouse IL-9, and the capture antibody is mouse-specific with no significant cross-reactivity observed against rat or human IL-9 homologs or related Th2 cytokines.
