Mouse Interleukin 33 (IL-33) ELISA Kit

The Mouse Interleukin 33 (IL-33) ELISA Kit from Assay Genie provides quantitative measurement of IL-33, a nuclear alarmin cytokine released upon cell damage that drives Th2-type immune responses. Accurate quantification of this cytokine is critical in studies of allergic inflammation, asthma, helminth infection, cardiac fibrosis, and tissue homeostasis research.

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate and a sandwich immunoassay format with colorimetric detection. The standard curve covers a detection range of 31.25 to 2000 pg/mL, with a sensitivity of less than 7.8 pg/mL. A 100 uL sample volume is loaded per well, and all reagents equilibrate to room temperature before use.

Unopened components are stored at 4 °C, while reconstituted standards should be aliquoted and frozen at -20 °C to preserve activity through repeated freeze-thaw cycles. The kit includes a microplate, capture antibody, detection antibody, standards, wash buffer, substrate, and stop solution sufficient for 96 determinations. Capture and detection antibodies are mouse-specific, with no significant cross-reactivity observed with rat or human IL-33 isoforms under standard assay conditions.
