Mouse Interleukin-21 (IL-21) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of mouse Interleukin-21 (IL-21) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The colorimetric assay is reactive with mouse samples and detects both natural and recombinant Interleukin-21.

Performance specifications include a detection range of 15.6-1000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 7.9 pg/mL. Intra-assay CV is 8.9% and inter-assay CV is 11.5%. Recovery is reported as an average of 89% (range 83-95%) in serum and 91% (range 85-97%) in plasma. Linearity has been evaluated across serial dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16) in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.

IL-21 is described as a secreted cytokine with immunoregulatory activity that may promote the transition between innate and adaptive immunity, induce IgG1 and IgG3 production in B-cells, and act in synergy with IL15 and IL18 to stimulate interferon gamma production in T-cells and NK cells. The kit is supplied for research use only and is intended for the immunology research area.
