Mouse Interleukin 21 (IL-21) ELISA Kit

Mouse IL-21 is a type I cytokine produced primarily by CD4+ T helper 17 (Th17) cells, T follicular helper (Tfh) cells, and natural killer T (NKT) cells, where it drives B-cell differentiation toward plasma cells, supports T-cell proliferation, and promotes NK cell maturation. This sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie quantitatively measures mouse IL-21 across serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and cell culture supernatants, supporting research in mucosal immunity, autoimmune disease models, and vaccine adjuvancy studies.

Standards, samples, and a biotinylated detection antibody are added to pre-coated wells, washed, and incubated with streptavidin-HRP conjugate before substrate addition. The assay reports a detection range of 15.6 pg/mL to 1000 pg/mL with a sensitivity below 9.375 pg/mL and a 100 uL sample volume per well. The 96-well microplate format provides space for a standard curve plus up to 40 unknown samples measured in duplicate.

Unused strips should be stored refrigerated with desiccant; reconstituted standards and detection antibody require frozen storage and limited freeze-thaw cycles. The kit is shipped on cold packs and components remain stable through the printed expiration date when stored as directed.
