Mouse Interleukin 18 Binding Protein (IL-18BP) ELISA Kit

Targeted toward cytokine and inflammation research, this colorimetric ELISA Kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of mouse interleukin-18 binding protein (IL-18BP) in laboratory samples. IL-18BP is a soluble decoy receptor that sequesters mature IL-18 and prevents engagement of the cell-surface IL-18 receptor, thereby dampening IFN-gamma-driven Th1 responses. The assay is therefore valuable for studies of immune regulation, autoimmunity, and infection models where IL-18 axis activity is of interest.

Supplied as a complete reagent set for 96 assays, the kit includes a pre-coated microplate and the detection reagents needed to generate a standard curve for interpolating unknown IL-18BP concentrations.
