Mouse Interleukin 17C (IL-17C) ELISA Kit

Mouse IL-17C is a member of the IL-17 cytokine family expressed predominantly by epithelial cells and certain immune subsets, where it signals through the IL-17RE/IL-17RA receptor complex to reinforce mucosal barrier defenses and amplify local inflammatory responses. Quantifying IL-17C in mouse models is therefore valuable for research into skin inflammation, intestinal homeostasis, host–pathogen interactions, and Th17-related autoimmunity.

This Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate format with a colorimetric readout and is calibrated against purified recombinant mouse IL-17C. The standard curve covers a detection range of 15.6 to 1000 pg/mL, and a 100 µL sample volume is loaded per well. Reconstituted standards should be aliquoted and stored at -20 °C to limit freeze-thaw loss, while unopened kits are shipped refrigerated and remain stable through the printed expiry.

Valid specimen types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and cell culture supernatants. The capture antibody is mouse-specific and shows no significant cross-reactivity with homologous IL-17 family members such as IL-17A, IL-17F, or IL-17E, supporting isoform-specific measurement. Each kit supplies a pre-coated plate, lyophilized standards, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP, wash buffer, substrate solution, stop reagent, and assay diluent sufficient for one full plate.
