Mouse Interleukin-10 (IL-10) ELISA Kit

A colorimetric sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of mouse Interleukin-10 (IL-10). The double-antibody sandwich method uses a pre-coated microplate, a biotin-labelled detection antibody, HRP-conjugated Streptavidin, and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm. Compatible sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

The procedure involves equilibrating reagents to room temperature and loading standards, samples and blanks onto the pre-coated plate. The plate is incubated at 37°C for 90 minutes for antigen binding, followed by 60 minutes with the biotinylated detection antibody, 30 minutes with HRP-Streptavidin, and 10–20 minutes of colour development with TMB substrate in the dark. The reaction is then stopped and absorbance measured at 450 nm immediately. Reagents are stored at 2-8°C, protected from direct light where indicated, with strips and lyophilised standard additionally suitable for storage at -20°C.

As IL-10 is a key anti-inflammatory cytokine involved in regulating immune responses and inflammation, the kit supports research into autoimmune disorders, infectious diseases, and inflammatory conditions.
