Mouse Interferon regulatory factor 5 (Irf5) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the precise measurement of Interferon regulatory factor 5 (IRF5) levels in mouse samples. The assay is reactive with mouse and detects natural and recombinant IRF5 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

Performance specifications include a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 42.6pg/mL. Reported precision values are an intra-assay CV of 8.2% and an inter-assay CV of 10.1%. Recovery is given as an average of 84% (range 80-90%) for serum and 86% (range 80-92%) for plasma. Linearity data cover dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 across serum (96-113%), EDTA plasma (84-117%) and heparin plasma (97-117%) sample sets.

IRF5 is a transcription factor involved in the induction of interferons IFNA and INFB and of inflammatory cytokines upon virus infection, and is activated by TLR7 or TLR8 signaling. The protein forms a homodimer when phosphorylated and shuttles between the cytoplasm and nucleus. The kit is for research use only.
