Mouse Interferon-induced 35 kDa protein homolog (Ifi35) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA developed by Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of mouse Interferon-induced 35 kDa protein homolog (Ifi35), also referenced as IFP 35, in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay is reactive with mouse samples, uses a colorimetric detection method, and is for research use only. Specificity is directed against natural and recombinant mouse Ifi35.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 40.2pg/mL. Precision is described by an intra-assay CV of 5.2% and an inter-assay CV of 9.3%. Linearity has been demonstrated across serial dilutions (1:2 to 1:16) in serum (91-125%), EDTA plasma (86-112%) and heparin plasma (89-120%). Spike-and-recovery averages 93% in serum (range 87-99%) and 95% in plasma (range 89-101%).

IFI35 expression is induced by interferon and the protein has been linked to immune response pathways, including inflammation and antiviral defense, supporting its use as a marker for studies of immune system activation and host response to pathogens in mouse models.
