Mouse Interferon gamma (Ifng) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a Sandwich ELISA designed for the accurate measurement of Interferon gamma (IFN-γ) levels in mouse samples. The kit is reactive with mouse and is suited to research in immune response regulation, where IFN-γ serves as a key cytokine with antiviral activity, potent macrophage-activating properties, and antiproliferative effects on transformed cells.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay demonstrates a detection range of 15.6-1000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 7.96pg/mL. Intra-assay CV is 4.6% and inter-assay CV is 7.9%. Recovery is 98% (92-104%) in serum and 100% (94-106%) in plasma. The kit shows specificity for natural and recombinant mouse Interferon gamma, and the analyte is a homodimer (Uniprot P01580) secreted primarily from activated T lymphocytes.

Linearity was assessed across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16. For serum (N=5), ranges were 109-119%, 99-108%, 111-121% and 104-116% respectively. EDTA plasma (N=5) ranges were 96-106%, 108-118%, 104-114% and 107-116%. Heparin plasma (N=5) ranges were 114-123%, 95-104%, 103-111% and 96-106%. For research use only.
