Mouse Interferon-alpha Antibody ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the precise quantification of interferon alpha antibody levels in mouse samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a Sandwich ELISA, Double Antigen format with a colorimetric detection method based on TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm. It has a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a measuring range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL. Kits should be stored sealed at 2-8°C and must not be cryopreserved.

Linearity validation across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma samples (n = 5) yielded recovery ranges of 85-98%, 82-101%, and 91-100% for serum; 94-105%, 83-91%, and 83-96% for EDTA plasma; and 85-105%, 88-101%, and 82-96% for heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions respectively. Sample recovery averaged 93% for serum (range 88-101%), 93% for EDTA plasma (range 88-102%), and 99% for heparin plasma (range 93-105%). The procedure involves reagent equilibration, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labeled antigen binding for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, TMB color development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after addition of stop solution.
