Mouse Inter alpha-trypsin inhibitor, heavy chain 4 (Itih4) ELISA Kit

A colorimetric sandwich ELISA developed by Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of mouse Inter alpha-trypsin inhibitor, heavy chain 4 (ITIH4) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay is reactive with mouse samples and shows specificity for natural and recombinant mouse ITIH4, with applications in immunology research including studies of inflammation regulation and tissue remodelling.

Performance specifications include a detection range of 0.312–20 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 5.3% and inter-assay CV of 7.6%. Linearity has been demonstrated in serum (107–119%, 113–122%, 102–111% and 93–105% at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions), EDTA plasma (94–102%, 105–116%, 83–93% and 96–106%) and heparin plasma (106–115%, 80–89%, 96–106% and 98–107%). Mean recovery is 99% for serum (range 93–105%) and 101% for plasma (range 95–107%). ITIH4 is described as a type II acute-phase protein involved in inflammatory responses to trauma that may also play a role in liver development or regeneration, and is a secreted member of the inter-alpha trypsin inhibitor family of plasma serine protease inhibitors.
