Mouse Intelectin 1 (ITLN1) ELISA Kit

Omentin, also called Intelectin-1, is a calcium-dependent lectin secreted primarily by visceral adipose tissue and small-intestine goblet cells, and circulating levels are investigated as a biomarker of metabolic and inflammatory status. This Assay Genie kit provides a quantitative two-antibody immunoassay on a pre-coated microplate for measuring mouse ITLN1 in serum, plasma, and tissue homogenate samples, with detection range 2.5 to 160 pg/mL and sensitivity 0.9 pg/mL. The assay is calibrated against recombinant mouse omentin and supports studies of obesity, type 2 diabetes, insulin resistance, atherosclerosis, and adipokine signaling. Each kit supports 96 determinations and includes a pre-coated microplate, biotinylated detection antibody, lyophilized standard, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash buffer, TMB substrate, and stop solution.
