Mouse Insulin-like growth factor-binding protein 5 (Igfbp5) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's sandwich ELISA kit provides a colorimetric method for quantitative detection of Mouse Insulin-like growth factor-binding protein 5 (Igfbp5) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. With mouse-specific reactivity, the assay detects natural and recombinant Igfbp5 and is aimed at research in signal transduction.

The kit is reported to have a detection range of 0.625-40ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.312ng/mL. Reproducibility figures include an intra-assay CV of 6.5% and an inter-assay CV of 9.3%. Linearity has been validated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16. Recovery is reported at 87% (range 81-93%) for serum and 89% (range 83-95%) for plasma.

Igfbp5 is a secreted binding protein (UniProt Q07079) that prolongs IGF half-life and modulates IGF interaction with cell surface receptors, playing a role in cell growth, differentiation and survival. For research use only.
