Mouse Insulin-like growth factor-binding protein 1 (Igfbp1) ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse Insulin-like growth factor-binding protein 1 (Igfbp1), also known as IBP-1. The kit is reactive with mouse samples and has been validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Detection is colorimetric, and the assay shows specificity for natural and recombinant mouse IGFBP1.

The kit delivers a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.08 ng/mL. Precision is reported as an intra-assay CV of 5.8% and inter-assay CV of 8.3%. Linearity has been evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across dilution series from 1:2 to 1:16, with recoveries of 80% (range 80–86%) in serum and 82% (range 80–88%) in plasma. According to the manufacturer's UniProt reference (P47876), IGFBP1 is a secreted protein that binds IGF1 and IGF2 equally, prolongs their half-life, modulates their interaction with cell surface receptors and promotes cell migration.
