Mouse Insulin (INS) ELISA Kit

According to the manufacturer's specifications, the kit provides a detection range of 0.625-40 mIU/L and a sensitivity of 0.312 mIU/L. Insulin is a secreted heterodimer of a B chain and an A chain linked by two disulfide bonds, with a reported molecular weight of 12,160 Da (UniProt P01325). Functionally, insulin decreases blood glucose concentration, increases cell permeability to monosaccharides, amino acids, and fatty acids, and accelerates glycolysis, the pentose phosphate cycle, and glycogen synthesis in liver.
