Mouse INSL3 (Insulin-Like 3) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this colorimetric ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of Mouse INSL3 (Insulin-Like 3) concentrations in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. The assay is reactive with mouse samples and is intended for research use only. INSL3 is a member of the insulin-like hormone family and plays a critical role in the development and function of the reproductive system, particularly in male fertility and testicular descent. The target protein (UniProt O09107; NCBI Gene ID 16336) seems to play a role in testicular function, may act as a trophic hormone in fetal testicular descent, and serves as a ligand for the LGR8 receptor.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and an assay range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL. Intra-assay precision is reported as CV <8% and inter-assay precision as CV <10%. The kit should be stored at 4°C for 6 months. Sample preparation guidance is provided for serum, plasma (collected with EDTA or heparin), urine, cerebrospinal fluid, cell culture supernatant, cell lysates, tissue homogenates, tissue lysates, and breast milk.
