Mouse Inorganic pyrophosphatase (Ppa1) ELISA Kit

This colorimetric, sandwich-format ELISA from Assay Genie is intended for the quantitative measurement of mouse inorganic pyrophosphatase (PPA1) in mouse-derived samples. Acceptable specimen types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay is specific for both natural and recombinant mouse inorganic pyrophosphatase and is supplied for research use only.

Manufacturer data state a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 39.6pg/mL. Precision is reported at 8.2% intra-assay CV and 10.0% inter-assay CV. Spike-and-recovery averages 85% for serum (range 80-91%) and 87% for plasma (range 81-93%), and linearity has been demonstrated at serial dilution factors of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.

PPA1 is a cytoplasmic, homodimeric enzyme of the inorganic pyrophosphatase family that catalyses the hydrolysis of pyrophosphate to inorganic phosphate, a reaction central to cellular phosphate metabolism. The corresponding mouse protein, catalogued in UniProt under accession Q9D819, has a reported molecular weight of 32,667 Da.
