Mouse Inhibin Beta B (INHbB) ELISA Kit

A quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie built to measure mouse Inhibin Beta B subunit protein in laboratory samples. Inhibin Beta B (INHbB) is one of the two beta subunits that assemble into Activin B homodimers and Inhibin B heterodimers, signalling through the TGF-beta superfamily receptor ActRIIB and influencing follicle-stimulating hormone release in the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis.

In mouse models, INHbB expression is studied in ovarian granulosa cells, testicular Sertoli and Leydig cells, pituitary gonadotrophs, and the developing nervous system, where altered levels accompany reproductive ageing, gonadal injury, and certain pituitary and adrenal tumour lines. Researchers running in vitro pituitary cell culture, conditioned medium studies, and tissue lysate work use this assay kit to track subunit production across treatment groups and developmental timepoints.
