Mouse Inhibin beta A chain (Inhba) ELISA Kit

The standard curve spans a detection range of 15.6–1000 pg/mL with a sensitivity of 7.8 pg/mL, and reported precision is an intra-assay CV of 7.5% and an inter-assay CV of 9.4%.

The target analyte, INHBA (UniProt Q04998), is a secreted, disulfide-linked dimeric protein belonging to the TGF-beta family. Inhibins and activins respectively inhibit and activate follitropin secretion by the pituitary gland, with broader roles in gonadal hormone secretion, germ cell development and maturation, erythroid differentiation, insulin secretion, nerve cell survival, embryonic axial development, and bone growth, depending on subunit composition; inhibins appear to oppose activin functions. Dysregulation of INHBA has been linked to infertility and cancer, supporting its value as a biomarker within cancer research.
