Mouse Indoleamine-2,3-Dioxygenase 2 (IDO2) ELISA Kit

IDO2 (Indoleamine-2,3-Dioxygenase 2) is a heme-dependent dioxygenase that catalyzes the initial, rate-limiting step of tryptophan catabolism through the kynurenine pathway. This Assay Genie kit enables quantitative measurement of murine IDO2 protein, supporting research into immune tolerance, inflammatory signaling, tumor immune escape, and tryptophan metabolism in mouse models.

Each kit ships as a complete assay package built around a pre-coated microplate and includes a calibrated recombinant standard, biotinylated detection reagent, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, TMB substrate, stop solution, wash buffer, and assay diluent. A 50 µL sample volume is loaded per well, followed by sequential binding and wash steps before absorbance readout on a standard plate reader. IDO2 concentrations are interpolated from the supplied standard curve.

The kit is validated for in vitro research applications including studies of autoimmune disease, cancer immunology, and host-pathogen interactions. Unopened reagents should be stored at 4°C, while reconstituted standards and working solutions should be aliquoted and held at -20°C to preserve activity; protect the TMB substrate from light and limit freeze-thaw cycles.
