Mouse Indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase 1 (Ido1) ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the detection of mouse Indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase 1 (IDO1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. The assay shows specificity for natural and recombinant mouse IDO1 and is read using a colorimetric ELISA detection method.

Reported performance includes a detection range of 0.78-50 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.4 ng/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 5.3% and an inter-assay CV of 7.7%. Linearity across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 is 89-99%, 80-89%, 84-92% and 100-110% for serum, 103-111%, 80-90%, 83-92% and 103-113% for EDTA plasma, and 88-97%, 107-116%, 88-98% and 92-103% for heparin plasma. Average recovery is 91% (range 85-97%) in serum and 93% (range 87-99%) in plasma.

IDO1 catalyzes the first and rate-limiting step of tryptophan catabolism along the kynurenine pathway and contributes to peripheral immune tolerance, regulation of T-cell proliferation and apoptosis, and acts as a suppressor of anti-tumor immunity. The target is a cytoplasmic monomer of 45,641 Da (Uniprot P28776; NCBI Gene ID: 15930), also referred to as Indoleamine-pyrrole 2,3-dioxygenase, IDO-1, Ido and Indo. The kit is for research use only.
