Mouse Immunoglobulin J chain (Igj) ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie, designed for quantitative measurement of mouse Immunoglobulin J chain (IgJ) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is reactive with mouse samples, showing specificity for natural and recombinant mouse Immunoglobulin J chain. It is intended for research use only.

The kit delivers a detection range of 3.12–200 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 1.65 ng/mL. IgJ is a secreted protein that serves to link two monomer units of either IgM or IgA — acting as a nucleating unit for the IgM pentamer and inducing larger polymers in IgA — and contributes to binding these immunoglobulins to secretory component. The associated UniProt accession is P01592 and the stated molecular weight is 18,014 Da.
