Mouse Immunoglobulin E (IgE) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the precise quantification of Immunoglobulin E (IgE) levels in mouse samples. It is reactive with mouse IgE and is intended for research use only in the field of immunology.

The kit is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, with specificity for natural and recombinant mouse Immunoglobulin E. Reported performance includes a detection range of 1.56-100 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.65 ng/mL, with intra-assay CV of 4.3% and inter-assay CV of 6.5%. Across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions, linearity is reported as 88-100% to 114-123% for serum, 93-103% to 117-117% for EDTA plasma, and 86-95% to 109-119% for heparin plasma. Mean recovery is 80% for both serum (range 80-83%) and plasma (range 80-85%).

Kit components include a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilized standard, sample diluent, assay diluents A and B, detection reagents A and B, wash buffer, substrate solution, stop solution and plate sealer, with a microplate reader equipped with a 450 nm filter required for readout. According to the manufacturer, IgE is typically the least abundant immunoglobulin isotype yet is capable of triggering powerful inflammatory reactions, and elevated IgE levels have been linked to allergies, asthma and other immune-related conditions.
