Mouse IL-9 ELISA Kit (MOEB0076)

A colorimetric sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of mouse Interleukin-9 (IL-9). The assay accepts serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and uses natural and recombinant mouse Interleukin-9 as standard. It is supplied for research use only and supports work within the immunology research area.

Performance characteristics reported by the manufacturer include a detection range of 15.6–1000 pg/mL, a sensitivity of 7.82 pg/mL, an intra-assay CV of 7.5% and an inter-assay CV of 9.7%. Linearity has been characterised in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across serial dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16, and recovery averages 87% (81–93%) in serum and 89% (83–95%) in plasma. Mouse IL-9 (UniProt P15247) is a secreted cytokine of the IL-7/IL-9 family that supports IL-2-independent and IL-4-independent growth of helper T-cells, with a molecular weight of 16,075 Da. Listed synonyms include Cytokine P40, T-cell growth factor P40 and IL-9.

Final readout is performed at 450 nm on a standard microplate reader following the supplied sandwich protocol. The kit is intended for the sensitive and accurate quantification of IL-9 in mouse serum, plasma and tissue lysates for research into immune regulation and inflammation.
