Mouse IL-8 ELISA Kit (MOFI01258)

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit uses a double-antibody detection method with a colorimetric readout to quantify mouse IL-8. The assay is reactive with mouse samples and accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Performance specifications include a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and an assay range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL. Reagents should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

The protocol follows a standard sandwich ELISA format. Reagents and TMB substrate are equilibrated to room temperature, standards and samples are loaded onto the pre-coated plate, and the plate is incubated at 37°C for 90 minutes. A biotin-labelled detection antibody is then added (37°C, 60 minutes), followed by HRP-Streptavidin (37°C, 30 minutes). TMB substrate is added and incubated in the dark for 10-20 minutes; the reaction is stopped and absorbance is read at 450 nm. In serum, linearity at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is 86-98%, 93-101% and 92-99% respectively, and average recovery is 93% (range 85-103).
