Mouse IL-6 PharmaGenie ELISA Kit (SBRS1444)

Mouse interleukin-6 (IL-6) is a pleiotropic pro-inflammatory cytokine central to immune signaling, B-cell maturation, and the acute phase response. This quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie enables accurate measurement of mouse IL-6 across inflammation, autoimmune disease, infectious disease, and oncology research models.

The microplate arrives pre-coated with capture antibody specific for mouse IL-6, paired with a biotinylated detection antibody and streptavidin-HRP conjugate for colorimetric readout. The working detection range covers 15.6 to 1000 pg/mL, with sensitivity 5 pg/mL and a recommended 100 uL sample volume per well. The standard curve is generated from serial dilutions of recombinant mouse IL-6 standards supplied with the kit.

Specificity testing demonstrates no significant cross-reactivity with related murine cytokines including IL-1β, TNF-α, or IL-10. Validated sample types include serum; plasma; cell culture supernatant; cell lysates; and tissue lysates. Reagent components should be stored refrigerated between uses; reconstituted standards and working dilutions require freezing for long-term stability.
