Mouse IL-33 PharmaGenie ELISA Kit (SBRS1435)

Mouse IL-33 is a member of the IL-1 cytokine family that functions as an alarmin released from damaged epithelial, endothelial, and immune cells. Through binding to the ST2 receptor (IL1RL1), IL-33 drives type 2 immune responses and is implicated in murine models of allergic airway inflammation, asthma, helminth infection, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, cardiac fibrosis, and tissue repair. This Assay Genie kit enables quantitative measurement of soluble IL-33 across cell culture supernatants, mouse plasma collected in EDTA or heparin, and mouse serum samples.

The assay is built on a 96-well microtitre plate pre-coated with a monoclonal capture antibody specific for mouse IL-33. A biotinylated detection antibody and streptavidin-HRP conjugate drive a TMB-based colour development reaction that is terminated with the supplied stop solution. A recombinant mouse IL-33 standard is included for constructing the standard curve. Each kit ships with a pre-coated plate, lyophilised standards, detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP, TMB substrate, stop solution, concentrated wash buffer, and sample diluent sufficient for one full plate.

Reconstituted standards should be aliquoted and stored frozen at -20 °C to minimise freeze-thaw cycles; other components are kept refrigerated at 4 °C. The recommended sample volume is 100 µL per well. CV values for both intra-assay and inter-assay precision are reported below 10%.
