Mouse IL-2sRA/CD25 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this colorimetric Sandwich ELISA kit uses a double-antibody format for the quantitative detection of mouse IL-2sRA/CD25 (IL2RA). The assay is intended for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with a reported sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and an assay range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL.

Linearity across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions (n = 5) is reported as 91–105% / 85–105% / 89–105% for serum, 86–101% / 89–99% / 86–96% for EDTA plasma, and 80–91% / 81–98% / 88–98% for heparin plasma. Spike-and-recovery ranges are 90–103% (serum, average 98%), 92–104% (EDTA plasma, average 99%) and 89–105% (heparin plasma, average 99%). The kit is supplied for research use only and is stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months.

The protocol involves equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, biotin-labelled detection antibody for 60 minutes at 37°C, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) for 30 minutes at 37°C, TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and a stop step with absorbance read at 450 nm. The target is associated with UniProt accession P01590 and is also referred to as IL-2sRalpha, CD25, IL-2 R alpha, IL2RA, IL-2 receptor subunit alpha, p55, TAC antigen and TCGFR.
