Mouse IL-2sR alpha/CD25 ELISA Kit (MOES01490)

An immunoassay kit from Assay Genie for quantitative measurement of soluble CD25 (the alpha subunit of the interleukin-2 receptor) in mouse research specimens, configured as a microplate-based ELISA. CD25, also known as IL-2Rα or Tac, is a ~55 kDa transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on activated CD4+ and CD8+ T lymphocytes, regulatory T cells, and certain B-cell populations, serving as a biomarker for immune activation, tolerance, and transplant biology.

The assay uses pre-coated capture antibodies, a biotinylated detector, and a streptavidin-HRP reporter that produces a quantifiable color signal. Applications include measuring soluble CD25 released from activated lymphocytes, supporting studies of T-cell expansion kinetics, regulatory T-cell dynamics, autoimmune disease models, and graft-versus-host responses in murine systems.
