Mouse IL-2RA ELISA Kit (MOEB0203)

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie with colorimetric detection for the quantitative measurement of mouse IL-2RA (Interleukin-2 receptor subunit alpha) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay detects natural and recombinant mouse Interleukin-2 receptor subunit alpha and is intended for research use only.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 31.2-2000pg/mL, sensitivity of 15.66pg/mL, intra-assay CV of 6.8%, and inter-assay CV of 8.2%. Sample recovery is reported at an average of 86% (range 80-92%) for serum and 88% (range 82-94%) for plasma. Linearity has been evaluated across serial dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8, 1:16) in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples.

IL-2RA is a single-pass type I membrane protein that serves as a receptor for interleukin-2 and contributes to the regulation of immune tolerance through control of regulatory T cell activity. The protein forms a non-covalent dimer of an alpha and a beta subunit, and the IL2R complex exists in three affinity forms. The kit supports immunology research applications.
