Mouse IL-28a ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of mouse IL-28A (interferon lambda-2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is intended for research use only.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 31.2-2000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 15.81 pg/mL. Intra-assay precision is reported as CV 6.7% and inter-assay precision as CV 11.2%. Linearity in serum (N=5) ranges from 108-118% at a 1:2 dilution to 100-110% at 1:16, while EDTA plasma shows 106-117% to 94-104% and heparin plasma 94-103% to 107-117% across the same dilutions. Spike-and-recovery averages 110% in serum (range 104-116%) and 112% in plasma (range 106-118%).

IL-28A is a secreted cytokine with immunomodulatory activity that up-regulates MHC class I antigen expression and exhibits antiviral and antitumor activity. It acts as a ligand for the heterodimeric class II cytokine receptor composed of IL10RB and IL28RA, signalling through the JAK-STAT pathway. The associated UniProt accession is Q4VK74.
