From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the quantitative detection of mouse IL-23A in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The target is also known as interleukin-23 subunit p19 (IL-23p19) or IL-23 subunit alpha, a cytokine that associates with IL12B to form the heterodimeric IL-23, which functions in innate and adaptive immunity and is implicated in autoimmune inflammation. Specificity is for natural and recombinant mouse Interleukin-23 subunit alpha, and the kit is supplied for research use only within immunology-focused studies of inflammatory and autoimmune disease mechanisms.

Quantitative performance figures reported for this product include a detection range of 15.6-1000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 7.8 pg/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 8.2% and an inter-assay CV of 10.0%. Dilutional linearity (N=5) is 89-98% at 1:2, 107-117% at 1:4, 93-103% at 1:8 and 100-112% at 1:16 in serum; 103-113%, 87-99%, 93-103% and 102-113% in EDTA plasma; and 86-99%, 99-111%, 108-117% and 90-98% in heparin plasma. Spike-and-recovery averages 89% (range 83-95%) in serum and 91% (range 85-97%) in plasma.
