IL-22 is a member of the IL-10 family of cytokines, secreted primarily by Th17 and Th22 lymphocytes as well as group 3 innate lymphoid cells. It signals through the IL-22R1/IL-10R2 receptor complex on epithelial and keratinocyte populations and is a focus of research in psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, inflammatory bowel disease, and mucosal barrier immunity. The kit supports quantitative measurement of mouse IL-22 in cell culture supernatant and serum samples generated from murine disease models.
