Mouse IL-21 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a colorimetric Sandwich ELISA Kit for the quantitative measurement of mouse interleukin-21 (IL-21) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format, is reactive specifically with mouse samples, and reports a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL with a standard detection range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL.

Linearity has been characterised across multiple sample matrices. For serum (n=5), dilutions of 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 yield recovery ranges of 86–98%, 89–105% and 87–97% respectively. EDTA plasma (n=5) returns 85–101%, 83–98% and 82–100% across the same dilutions, and heparin plasma (n=5) returns 81–94%, 86–99% and 83–97%. Spiked-recovery performance is reported with average values of 90% for serum (range 86–93%), 94% for EDTA plasma (range 91–104%) and 95% for heparin plasma (range 91–105%).

IL-21 is a cytokine involved in the regulation of immune responses, including the differentiation and function of T cells and B cells, and is investigated as a biomarker in immune-mediated disorders. Kit reagents are stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months, and the target protein is associated with UniProt Q9ES17.
