Mouse IL-2 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this is a high-quality sandwich ELISA designed for the quantitative measurement of interleukin-2 in mouse samples. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Mouse IL-2 is a key cytokine produced by T-cells in response to antigenic or mitogenic stimulation; it is required for T-cell proliferation and supports the activity of B-cells, monocytes, lymphokine-activated killer cells, natural killer cells and glioma cells.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 31.2–2000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 15.72 pg/mL, with an Intra CV of 5.2% and Inter CV of 8.2%. Linearity has been characterised in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma dilution series, and recovery is given as 94% (range 88–100%) for serum and 96% (range 90–102%) for plasma.

The kit recognises natural and recombinant mouse IL-2, with no significant cross-reactivity or interference between Mouse IL-2 and analogues reported. It is intended for research use only and is suited to applications in immunology and cancer research.
