Mouse IL-2 ELISA Kit (MOES00661)

A sandwich-format ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse interleukin-2 (IL-2) in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method, a sample volume of 100 μL, and runs in approximately 3 h 30 min. The kit is intended for research applications in cancer and immunology.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 9.38 pg/mL and a detection range of 15.63–1000 pg/mL, with a recovery of 80%–120%. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between mouse IL-2 and analogues has been observed. Linearity has been validated in serum, EDTA plasma and cell culture media across serial dilutions, and intra- and inter-assay precision has been characterised in the product documentation.

IL-2 is a key cytokine involved in regulating immune responses, with roles in T-cell proliferation and differentiation. Dysregulation of IL-2 has been implicated in autoimmune diseases, inflammation and certain cancers, making it a relevant biomarker in disease-pathogenesis research.
