Mouse IL-2 ELISA Kit (MOEB0069)

This colorimetric sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative detection of mouse interleukin-2 (IL-2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit recognizes natural and recombinant mouse IL-2 and is intended for research use only, with applications in cancer research. IL-2 is also known by the synonyms T-cell growth factor (TCGF).

According to the manufacturer, the assay has a detection range of 31.2-2000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 15.72pg/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 5.2% and inter-assay CV of 8.2%. Recovery in serum averages 94% (range 88-100%) and in plasma averages 96% (range 90-102%). Linearity in serum ranges from 87-119% across dilution factors 1:2 to 1:16, with EDTA plasma showing 81-117% and heparin plasma showing 92-111%. The target analyte is a secreted cytokine produced by T-cells in response to antigenic or mitogenic stimulation, required for T-cell proliferation and capable of stimulating B-cells, monocytes, lymphokine-activated killer cells, natural killer cells, and glioma cells.
