Mouse IL-1B ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit enables quantitative detection of interleukin-1 beta (IL-1B) in mouse samples. The double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric readout is designed for the precise quantification of IL-1B in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. IL-1B is a key cytokine in the inflammatory response and immune regulation, contributing to physiological and pathological processes including inflammation, autoimmune diseases, and infectious diseases; measuring IL-1B levels supports investigation of these mechanisms and the identification of potential therapeutic targets.

The protocol uses a biotin-labeled detection antibody, HRP-streptavidin (SABC) and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm. Sensitivity is 7.5 pg/mL and the standard range is 12.5-800 pg/mL (1pg=1100mIU). Spiked recovery is reported at 96-104% for serum (n=5), 94-103% for EDTA plasma (n=5) and 89-96% for heparin plasma (n=5). Linearity across 1:2 to 1:8 dilutions spans 85-105% for serum (n=5), 84-101% for EDTA plasma (n=5) and 80-99% for heparin plasma (n=5). Storage is at 2-8°C for 12 months.
