Mouse IL-18BP ELISA Kit (MOES01232)

This Assay Genie colorimetric sandwich ELISA is intended to quantify IL-18BP in mouse serum, plasma and other biological fluids. The manufacturer specifies an assay time of "4.5h", a detection range of "0.16-10 ng/mL", and a required sample volume of "100µL" per well. It reports no significant cross-reactivity or interference between the kit and analogues.

The microplate is pre-coated with an antibody specific to mouse IL-18BP. Standards or samples are added and combined with that antibody, followed successively by a biotinylated detection antibody and an avidin-HRP conjugate; free components are then washed away. Substrate is added next, so wells containing IL-18BP, the detection antibody and the conjugate appear blue and turn yellow after Stop Solution is added. Optical density is measured spectrophotometrically, and sample concentration is calculated by comparing readings with a standard curve established for each test.
