Mouse IL-12B ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the quantitative detection of mouse Interleukin-12 subunit beta (IL-12B), also referred to as IL-12 subunit p40 and CLMF p40. The colorimetric assay is reactive with mouse samples and validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, with applications in immunology research.

Reported performance specifications include a detection range of 31.2-2000pg/mL, a sensitivity of 15.68pg/mL, an intra-assay CV of 6.4% and an inter-assay CV of 9.1%. The assay specifically detects natural and recombinant mouse Interleukin-12 subunit beta. Spiked recovery averages 90% in serum (range 84-96%) and 92% in plasma (range 86-98%). IL-12B forms a disulfide-linked heterodimer with IL23A (known as IL-23) and with IL12A (known as IL-12), and is also secreted as a monomer. The protein belongs to the type I cytokine receptor family (Type 3 subfamily) and has a molecular weight of 38,235 Da.
