Mouse IL-10 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this colorimetric Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse IL-10. The double-antibody sandwich format uses a pre-coated microplate, a biotin-labelled detection antibody, HRP-conjugated streptavidin and a TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm. Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

The assay has a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a working range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL. Reported linearity (n=5) in serum is 86–105% at 1:2, 85–93% at 1:4 and 80–100% at 1:8; in EDTA plasma 86–98%, 85–98% and 88–96%; and in heparin plasma 86–102%, 83–101% and 83–92%. Spike-and-recovery averages are 93% for serum (range 87–105%), 95% for EDTA plasma (range 86–102%) and 94% for heparin plasma (range 88–99%).

The protocol runs at 37 °C with a 90-minute primary incubation, a 60-minute detection-antibody binding step and a 30-minute HRP-streptavidin step, followed by 10–20 minutes of TMB colour development in the dark before stop solution is added. Mouse IL-10 is also referred to as Interleukin 10, IL10, IL10A, CSIF and TGIF. The unopened kit is stored at 2–8 °C for 12 months and is shipped at +4 °C.
