Mouse IgG2a/Immunoglobulin G2a ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody kit is designed for the quantitative detection of mouse IgG2a (Immunoglobulin G2a) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Detection is colorimetric and the kit is reactive with mouse.

Performance figures quoted by the manufacturer include a sensitivity of 0.469 ng/mL and an assay range of 0.781–50 ng/mL. Reported linearity (n = 5) covers serum at 90–101% (1:2), 82–99% (1:4) and 87–99% (1:8); EDTA plasma at 87–99%, 84–100% and 81–94%; and heparin plasma at 85–105%, 82–100% and 82–93%. Recovery ranges and averages (n = 5) are serum 88–101% (94%), EDTA plasma 87–105% (97%) and heparin plasma 89–102% (96%). Storage is 2–8°C for 12 months.

The procedure comprises reagent and TMB equilibration, primary incubation of standards and samples at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody binding at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) binding at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and a stop reaction with absorbance read at 450 nm.
