Mouse IGFBP6/Insulin-Like Growth Factor Binding Protein 6 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the accurate measurement of Insulin-like Growth Factor Binding Protein 6 (IGFBP6) in mouse samples, using a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection. It is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

The assay has a sensitivity of 37.5 pg/mL and a working range of 62.5-4000 pg/mL, and the kit should be stored at 2-8°C for up to 12 months. Reported linearity in serum (n=5) is 86-103% at 1:2, 91-101% at 1:4, and 92-103% at 1:8; for EDTA plasma (n=5), 83-96%, 85-103%, and 86-103%; and for heparin plasma (n=5), 83-96%, 83-99%, and 85-101%. Spike-and-recovery averages are 96% for serum (range 92-104%), 97% for EDTA plasma (range 92-100%), and 95% for heparin plasma (range 90-104%).

IGFBP6 regulates insulin-like growth factor activity and contributes to cell growth, proliferation, and survival, with its dysregulation linked to cancer, metabolic disorders, and developmental abnormalities. The workflow uses a biotin-labelled detection antibody with HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm.
