The colorimetric assay is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

According to the product specifications, sensitivity is 9.375 pg/mL with a detection range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL. The kit is stored at 2–8°C for 12 months. Linearity has been demonstrated in serum (85–102% across 1:2 to 1:8 dilutions), EDTA plasma (83–100%), and heparin plasma (81–98%), with recovery ranges of 92–103% for serum, 92–105% for EDTA plasma, and 85–105% for heparin plasma.
